The reports from many countries in Europe on the subject of summer vacation 2020 are rolling over. On the one hand, the federal government wants to lift the travel warning for several countries after June 14th. And on the other hand, many countries would like to attract German tourists to the holiday resorts again and thus enable travel through border openings again. It's not easy to keep track of things, so we've put together an up-to-date overview here (as of May 30, 2020).
The country overview where vacation will be possible again:
- Denmark from June 15th
- Greece from July 1st
- Italy from June 3rd
- Spain (incl. Mallorca & Canary Islands) from July

- USA currently still has a travel ban for travellers.
- New Zealand not clear.
- United Arab Emirates at the latest in September do you want to let travelers in again?

- Dominican Republic possibly from that 5 July again.
- Mexico not clear.
- Maldives not clear.
- Southeast Asia not clear.
What should be considered?
Many of the countries listed above will enforce strict hygiene guidelines and social distancing rules and will conduct a PCR test (swab, rapid corona test) after landing. In any case, you should pay attention to future bookings cancellable free of charge to book offers.
